I'm Shelby
I'm a graduate of Westmore Academy of Cosmetic Arts in Burbank, CA, where I completed advanced training in makeup for motion pictures and television. Through this program, I learned the dimensions of color and harmony — truly putting the art in makeup artist. 480 hours later, I walked away with the essential skills for beauty and glamour across print, runway, and video in both color and black and white mediums.
There is nothing more special than being able to be a part of your clients big day, making her feel her ultimate best.
My career started after returning to San Diego in 2009 when I started at MAC Cosmetics in Nordstrom. After building up my skills and clientele I decided it was time to start my own freelance business. I broke into the wedding industry and fell in love with everything about it.
I have had the opportunity to work with big name photographers for advertising photo shoots and magazine. You can now see my work on local celebrities and A listers in San Diego! Im blessed how far I have come and can not wait to see how far I can go.
